New Charity Partnership

MDD First Aid have now partnered with the wonderful charity Freddie’s Wish, which was created in memory of the wonderful little Freddie, who sadly passed away in December 2014 at 13 months old in a road traffic accident.

Freddie’s Wish is very proud to fund essential Paediatric First Aid Awareness courses for parents, grandparents, guardians and carers, to provide ‘Vital Skills for Life.’ The 3 hour sessions are delivered by MDD First Aid and teach skills to enhance confidence to ensure the correct treatment can be delivered quickly in emergency first aid situations, such as: CPR, choking, bleeds, burns and other common illnesses/injuries.

Another incredible and essential service Freddie’s Wish fund is Bereavement Training within schools for all members of staff and also for healthcare professionals. This provision improves and strengthens the support structure for all bereaved students and families.

Charlotte Jolliffe, Freddie’s mum and founder of Freddie’s Wish also provides fundamental support and comfort to bereaved families from a bereaved parents perspective.
